TERUEL AIRPORT AND MOTORLAND JOIN FORCES FOR THE ENCOURAGE R&D&I
MotorLand Aragón and the Consortium of the Airport Platform of Teruel, PLATA, sign an agreement to promote technological and industrial projects that enhance the R + D + i of both institutions and strengthen the industrial and technological factory in the territory.
MotorLand Aragón and Teruel Airport sealed a collaboration agreement on Wednesday to encourage projects that promote research, development and innovation in both entities. The agreement also includes the implementation of educational, informative and training activities whose objective will be to strengthen the industrial and technological fabric in the territory.
The agreement was signed on Wednesday at the PLATA facilities by Santiago Abad, manager of MotorLand Aragón, and by Alejandro Ibrahim, manager of the Teruel Airport Consortium. Both institutions consider this collaboration of great interest. The common purpose is to carry out projects and joint activities that have a positive impact on the autonomous community.
In this sense, Plata and MotorLand will be able to collaborate shaping to common and diverse initiatives. Research projects; holding meetings, conferences and congresses aimed at the exchange of information between specialists from various fields; training courses, or advisory work, are some of the actions that thanks to this agreement may be addressed jointly by both entities.
MotorLand Aragón, reference for the motor world
MotorLand Aragón is a multifunctional complex consisting of a speed track, a karting track and ground track. They are joined by the TechnoPark MotorLand technological space, with various companies installed and operating at full capacity in the field of R + D + i development. MotorLand encourages the daily operation of its facilities for all kinds of activities: motorcycle and car runs, official teams and drivers training, advertising spots, driving courses . The complex offers all types of users a space to practice the motorsport in excellent conditions of security and in a first level facilities.
Furthermore, of course, MotorLand is the scene of regional, national and international sports competitions. The sporting events allow placing MotorLand, Alcañiz, Teruel and Aragón on the front page of the media, which favours the development and promotion of the region. The creation of employment, wealth and settlement of the population in Bajo Aragón are other of the main objectives, a complex that is already a reference in the motor world. This has contributed to its technological and industrial vocation, as well as an integral and innovative offer in its sector.
Teruel Airport, ideal for the development of industrial aeronautics
The Airport of Teruel is an international aeronautical industrial hub, located near the epicentre of the European aerospace industry, ideal for an industrial aeronautical development. The complex is conceived as an open platform where aeronautical companies from all over the world can establish their operations in a strategic location and under highly competitive conditions of operation. Despite its incipient trajectory, PLATA is already known for its leadership and experience in maintenance; MRO; parking and recycling of airplanes; helicopters; wide-body aircraft; executive and general aviation; UAV-RPA, and research and development in aerospace activities.
