José Luis Soro, the minister in the Aragon Government of Territory Integration, Mobility and Housing, underlines the need for this investment as a result of the activity growth in the airport.
The work on expanding the paved apron for aircraft parking has started. This expansion is going to be following the already existing beside the hangars. The work is considered to be needed for the increasing activity of the airport of Teruel. Furthermore, the new paved area will measure 165 x 165 metres and the surface will be concrete pavement.
The work was awarded to the company IDECOM S.A.U. for 1.166.294,37 euro (excluding VAT) and it started last week. The completion term of this work is five months.
