Operating License

The verification of Teruel Airport for public uses was issued by the Spanish Aviation Safety and Security Agency (AESA), on 5th February, 2013. The permission to air operations was given by the DGAC and the Government of Aragon on 28 February 2013. It is recalled that the airport is not authorized for passenger traffic.

Teruel Airport has been already opened for international traffic and it has been enabled a frontier post on February 2014:

Parking

Teruel Airport has a platform area in front of the aircraft maintenance hangar with two aircraft parking bays for aircrafts type B747 or six positions for type A320.

Furthermore, the airport has a parking platform for helicopters, which is currently used by 112 medical service helicopter and forestry helicopter.

AIP: Aeronautical Information Publication of Teruel Airport. Before the flight plan you must consult the basic aeronautical information manual. It contains permanent information and long-term changes and it is used essentially for air navigation and airport operations

Operations

Before air operations it is necessary contact with the airport operations centre saying: aircraft type, registration number, aircrew, scheduled arrival, parking... Please, send to operations an email to facilitate the arrival and use of the airport.
